Success Story and Milestones
After more than five years working as a development engineer specializing in low-pressure plasma processes and plasma systems, Jörg Eisenlohr, Dipl.-Ing. (FH), started his own business in 1999. In 2005, he founded the sole proprietorship “plasma technology,” based in Nagold. In 2008, this became a limited liability company (GmbH) based in Rottenburg. Since 2010, our headquarters have been located in Herrenberg.
2026
Relaunch of our company website.
2025
plasma technology's 20th anniversary marks a significant milestone.
2024
Development of GMP-compliant software for pharmaceutical applications.
2020
Expansion of our international partners.
2018
Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
2012
Our company made it into the top 10 in the State Award for Young Companies, presented by the state and L-Bank.
2010
Purchase of our current building and move to Herrenberg-Gültstein.
2009
Implementation of a quality management system + certification to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008.
2008
Change of name to plasma technology GmbH at the Rottenburg location.
2005
Foundation of the sole proprietorship plasma technology by Jörg Eisenlohr, B.Eng. (FH), together with Jeanette Eisenlohr and one employee, in Nagold.

As early as 2009, our company, plasma technology GmbH, implemented an integrated quality management system based on DIN EN ISO 9001:2008.
As a result, the products of plasma technology GmbH are certified accordingly. As always, we are committed to the principle of quality in order to achieve the highest possible quality for our processes and products. In 2018, we implemented certification to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. Our low-pressure plasma systems therefore meet the highest quality standards. We continuously work to update our certification, which also benefits our customers.

Plasma systems in use worldwide
Our low-pressure plasma systems are in use around the world, and many of them operate in continuous, high-frequency mode (24/7). For example, a production line in India is capable of handling approximately 75,000 processes per year. Digital support and process assistance are no problem, even across thousands of miles.
